Who we Support

While our goal is ultimately to have a physical presence in the Philippines, the most effective use of our current resources is to directly support those organizations that we’ve established relations with from abroad. We support existing missionaries, orphanages and schools throughout the Philippines.

Currently Supporting:
Tahanan Sta. Luisa Crisis Intervention Manila
Tahanan Sta. Luisa helps rehabilitate abused girls at their crisis intervention and recovery center in Manila. An estimated 30% of street children are girls who are often the victims of sexual exploitation.

Poverty caused by unemployment, underemployment, lack of basic social services and breakdown in family systems sends them to the streets in search of food and money. Many of these children go back to their homes every night but nearly a quarter of them do not or cannot.

Tahanan Sta. Luisa does their best to provide these girls a pathway to restoration through their framework of caring, healing and teaching. Please visit their website for more information. http://tahananstaluisa.hope.org.ph/about-us.html

Mark and Sarah Brown

Mark and Sarah Brown met in the Philippines in 2008 but had been missionaries individually to the Philippines since 2006. Each of them was originally sent from their own Assembly of God church, Mark from America and Sarah from Australia.

They were married in 2009 and together with their staff continue to minister to the Filipino community through their Mabuhay (“to have life”) outreach programs. You can learn more about the Browns at http://www.filipinomissions.com/.

At Filipino Outreach International, we are continually seeking new organizations in the Philippines that we can support as needs and opportunities arise.
Your financial gift helps promote organizations that we know and trust are having an immediate and tangible benefit to the people they serve.
